How sharing content on social make developers to live life in their own way?
those who are making personal brand through social media like insta, tiktok , linkedin , twitter etc. they win more than those haven't yet online.
Why in this era social presence more important than ever?
if you have followers or may more people are seeing to you even if you have only 1000 followers that drive as a traffic to your website, check out your products , supports to your hobby projects or give you valuable feedback.
and i know most of the people are aware nowadays and every one is going to make thier own social pages but some of them is trying to putting more effort to making content and not focusing on output.
like they have got more views but they don't know how to monetize it.
so at the end you need to post way more content and also have a sytem to earn money through that whether you blog to get money through ads or selling some product or may promoting your hobby project and some people are getting way more opportunity through social media.
social media = building visibility + opportunity + long term income.
What to post as a dev or as a beginner?
you don't need be a editor or thinking in a way i need to make good content from day 1.
most people are draining their energy into making content well , editing , scripting, shooting etc. but actually as a beginner or just starting we don't need to do that.
you only need to document and a good format to repeat that process and if that format not work change it but not mastering editing.
Don't make content just document your process.
post everyday even if that feel bad just post it.
Don't edit more your video just add some cuts or some screenshot if you want to show something.
Platform to choose as a developer or as an introvert?
This is where most of the people saying that i don't want to show my face and voice so here we have to understand we have nowadays bigger advantage to clip someone video and just add some ai voiceover and also you can post some of the things through just writing blogs.
Choose instagram as a marketing and branding funnel you can post just simple quotes or showing something and writing some of the word as an overlay.
Choose youtube as branding and earning purpose that make passive income once got viral even if you not work daily.
Choose twitter if you shy that's the developer way to get massive audience and show day by day your progress.
linkedin , reddit , indiehacker , hashnode , medium theirs plenty of you can use as a writer that can make a life long learning and earning path.
How you win the game of social?
don't think about you're going to get more views and things getting better in a month or a year because most of winners started early in their life and just pivoting to one idea to another to win their career.
so don't lie to yourself that you can change your life in a month or a year just say i make content daily and i make my self better every day or may just i post daily things are getting better as i do every single day.
make content what you're doing and what problems you have , or just what ever you're learning just post it.
It’s okay if your video isn’t perfect, just post it. Every upload becomes a reflection of your progress and helps you to get better day by day.
After uploading forget it because you're making content to just show up daily.
if you getting some views start interacting with users and try to sell something or may just help them, or promote your saas apps , or your projects that can solve their problem.
remember no blogpost no youtube video no one can help you to win in content if you don't want to make and not trying to nail the social media to get something out of it.
The truth is you need to show up a year or more to get visibility in your domain but you can start taking audience as an users or consumer of your product and services or may you're helping in a specific domain to them and you need to understand why you're making content otherwise you never got any thing.
